That is why it was important, when Celenia delivered the communication modules on time for PBS' gateway for the electronic invoicing system.

He underlines the target for PBS was to find a business partner with knowledge of the market of ERP systems for small and medium sized companies.
ERP experts on a new market
The result of Celenia's deal with PBS is that the Danish software development company no longer is an unknown sub-supplier for ERP-systems. Together with its development department in Ukraine the Aalborg Company has not only taken over the communication modules for e|faktura, it also has taken over the integration, the future maintenance, and development of e|faktura for the ERP-systems Concorde C5, Navision XAL, and Axapta.
” It is nice to experience the need for the core competencies we have used the past years to build up. For us the deal with PBS is the entry to a new market with the products and competencies we are know for and that are central for us", says the founder and CEO of Celenia Henrik Kristiansen.
e|faktura is the private sector's match to the electronic invoicing system the public sector has released under the name OIOXML February 1 2005.
The future is electronic invoices everywhere
"OIOXML has given the electronic invoicing a kick, now we are working on including the private sector for PBS and the banks to be the central provider of electronic invoices", Lars Fruergaard explains.
With e|faktura, PBS will be able to provide all forms of invoices. Earlier e|faktura was based on bilateral agreements between the sender and the receiver both registered with the invoice mailed directly between the parts.
With the new gateway and a central solution at PBS, PBS will be a central player for exchanging electronic invoices because the senders will not have to worry in what format the receivers can receive the invoices.
If the receiver is an e|faktura receiver of course, the invoice is electronic. If the receiver is from the public sector, the invoice is electronically forwarded in OIOXML format. Otherwise, PBS makes a print of the invoice and sends it to the receiver as ordinary post, just as documents of course can be forwarded to the electronic mailbox, e-Boks.
