With some very specific requirements in mind, Anglia evaluated a number of version control solutions. “We chose Celenia Version Control because it is closely integrated with NAV and, more importantly, it has been specifically built to work with the Dynamics NAV ERP software,” said Adrian Grech, Senior Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant at Anglia. “Initially, we piloted Celenia Version Control on a few projects. However, it is now becoming an essential standard tool for our project teams and is utilized for all projects, big and small.”

One of the major advantages for Anglia is that all changes to all objects are fully traceable. Celenia Version Control keeps track of who does what and when. Another great feature is that previous versions of the objects are held in the database and can be recalled whenever required.

“It gives us peace of mind that developers will not overwrite each other’s code and that all changes are fully auditable. Managing the development process has become easier and by using this software, we’re always in control,” Adrian Grech said.
